Renee Boyd

Renee is a native Texan and has lived in Carlsbad for nine years. She has been a member of the
Artist Gallery for three years. She is married to Dan, and they have a grown son and a teenage
daughter, three dogs and a cat. She is life-long “artsy-craftsy” person. Her current focus
includes making jewelry, silk painting and Zentangle. Over the years, she has also enjoyed (and
still enjoys) embroidery, cross-stitch, basket making, stained glass, scrapbooking, paining with
watercolor, book binding-and dabbled in lots more! Other facets of Renee include being a
pastor’s wife, a love of reading and gardening, and the joy of raising Eastern Black Swallowtail
butterflies each summer.
