Pat Beason

Pat was born in Oklahoma and has lived in Carlsbad, NM for most of her life. Through the years she has experimented in acrylic, watercolor and pastel, with oils being her first love. For over 25 years, she has taught classes and workshops, in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Colorado. She is a designer for several paint companies. She also has written article for difference magazines. In 1990, She authored a book “Southwest Christmas.” Several years ago, Pat attended the International Eggery Show in Dallas, TX and became fascinated with Faberge Eggs that has set out on a new adventure with her art. She was the only artist in the state of NM to have one of her eggs chosen and put on permanent display a the White House. She was also the only artist in NM to paint 4 life-size horses, an art project to raise money for non-profit organizations in Carlsbad. Her work is on exhibit at the Artist Gallery in Carlsbad, or can be seen at her studio, Sharing Studio.
